Urban Dictionary defines “The Whips” as “The feeling of intense groove; not too far but just enough to touch your toes and get to movin’. Batteries are included.” The Whips have found the funk/soul you’ve been missing all this time and are here at your doorstep to return it to you. The Kansas City based band consists of four core members and a rotating door of musicians who collaborate with the band. The core members are Max Indiveri running the funk on guitar; Max Cooper laying down the best keys you ever did hear; Quinn Cosgrove, the Golden Retriever of bass; and Miles Patterson on drums keeping the Patterson Shuffle so deep in the pocket you could sleep in it.
