2nd Street Stage: Boss Mama and the Jebberhooch

June 24, 2021

Folk/Outlaw Country/Blues

Colleen Myhre

the Jebberhooch

Colleen (Boss Mama) Myhre has soul and she pours it into every note. With complete control of her voice, Colleen takes listeners on an emotional ride from smooth country heartbreak to foot stomping Americana blues. She is a true American singer/songwriter grounded in her passion of soulful and heartfelt music. In 2011 Myhre released Ride of My Life. “Part Lucinda Williams and part Charlie Parr, Colleen Myhre’s gritty songwriting is as rawhide tough as it is genuine. On stage, her rustic personality can entertain both a honky tonk’s hard boiled regulars and tranquil coffee house crowds alike…” – Duluth News Tribune. Colleen’s recently released album “Boss Mama” has been hitting the airwaves all around the northland. With a full 2020 summer of music festivals and street shows planned, Covid 19 threw a curveball into every artist’s life. Colleen became more dedicated in following her passion. The “Boss Mama” solicited the skills and talents of other musicians and affectionately named the collaboration. Major sponsors are Enbridge, R.D. Offutt Farms and TruStar Federal Credit Union. Band sponsor June 24 is Paul Bunyan Communications. Arrive at 5 for the social hour, sponsored by Lee Davis Electric, and remember to bring your own chair.
