2nd Street Stage: Everett Smithson Band

Everett Smithson Band will perform a Music of the Mississippi Show, a musical journey from northern Minnesota to New Orleans. The audience will hear zydeco, rockabilly, texmex, blues and funky roots music plus some original songs about life near the river and some obscure gems you may have heard before. The show’s upbeat music and infectious grooves will grab people’s attention. The band is made up of seasoned pros who have played all over the world: Everett Smithson, vocals, harmonicas, rub board, jaw harp; Kathleen (the zydeco queen) Smithson, vocals, accordions, rub board, 12 -string guitar, mandolin; Jeremy Johnson, guitars; Bill Black, bass guitars; and Victor Spann, drums.
