Jolabokaflod Festivities

The Park Rapids Area Library’s unique version of the Icelandic tradition returns, and this year it’s even better! Everyone who checks out library materials December 18-23 will receive a free chocolate -and new this year – a pre-wrapped (gently used or retired) book! Selections will include picture books, chapter books for kids and teens, and both fiction and non-fiction for adults. You can choose a genre, but the book will be a surprise! Celebrate the season the Icelandic way with a book flood!
