Three of the four winners of the winter-spring Park Rapids Downtown Business Association (PRDBA) photo contest picked up their prints at Studio 176 May 30. They are Chelsea (Sky) Wolfe, Steven Bolton and Richard Halvorsen of Plymouth.
Wolfe’s winning photo, Yuletide Sampler Lighting, won in the Main Street Scenes category. Bolton’s Wildlife photo, Great Horned Owl, was taken in the Akeley area. In the Area Lake Scenes category, Richard Halvorsen won for his photo, Make a Wish, at Big Mantrap Lake, looking toward Park Rapids. Craig Birhle shot his Recreation photo, Foggy Sunset Ice Fishing, on Potato Lake.
Studio 176 sponsors the contest and will award a professionally finished, 11-×14-inch fine art print of the winning photograph in each category.
