Plan to hop around town April 11 & 12

Downtown Park Rapids will be hopping with Easter fun Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12. Visit and take photos with the Easter Bunny and collect an Easter egg stuffed with candy from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days at Bella Caffé on 3rd Street.

For more fun, do the Egg Chase at any or all of participating businesses and collect Easter eggs with candy from them, too. Please note business hours vary and some are closed on Saturday.

Eggs will be given away at 36 businesses. Participating are: Citizens National Bank, Coborn’s Grocery Store (service counter), The Tin Ceiling Gallery, Kathryn’s Boutique on Main, Revel Brewing, Beyond Juice, MinneSoda Fountain, Greet & Gather, Enjoy, MPACT: Tell People They Matter, Ecowater Systems, Bearly Used Thrift Store, Patrick J. Sullivan Insurance, the Chamber Visitor Center, Jeweler of the North, Kathryn’s on Main – Lazy One, 3rd Street Market, Bella Caffé, Beagle and Wolf Books, Arvig Office, Hugo’s Family Marketplace (service counter), Good Life, Molly Poppin’s Gourmet Snacks, Monika’s Quilt & Yarn Shop, Trading Post, Armory Arts & Events Center (corner office on 2nd St.), Giiwedinong Museum, Wild Bare Care, Gartner Real Estate Team, Aunt Belle’s Confectionary, Simonson Station Store, Marie Luetmer State Farm, Cwikla Ace Hardware, Thielen Motors, Heartland Inn Hotel & Suites, and De La Hunt Media. Park Rapids-Walker Eye Clinic is listed on the poster but will be closed both days.

This year’s event coincides with Week of the Young Child April 7-12, sponsored by Park Rapids Community Education and Early Childhood Family Education. Kids ages 5 and under are invited to participate in Adventures Around Town
